It is with great disappointment that we say goodbye to Jory Prum, an experienced sound designer along with audio engineer in the video game industry. After having suffered injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident, Prum died on April 22 at the age of Forty one.
As a veteran of the industry, Prum found work in multiple video gaming genres and for various companies. He did in voice saving, sound design, balancing dialog and more. He is known for his passion and also teamwork for whatever the project called for.?Apart from video games, Prum has worked with various film and television projects. He has also been part of Pixar’azines Academy Award-winning short With the Birds.
Prum began his or her video game career working at LucasArts on dozens of games including Knights in combat of the Old Republic. Then provided his skillsets to Sega, Activision, Ubisoft and more over the years. More recently, Prum worked on Telltale Games’ The Walking Lifeless: The Game and Two times Fine Productions’ Grim Fandango Remastered. Jory Prum left us too quickly. Without his capabilities we would not have had the opportunity to experience as many excellent titles as could possibly.
