On this week’s Greatly OP Podcast, Justin and I tried to answer an issue from a listener branded Kenny, who proposed that individuals consider the idea of games other than World of Warcraft being utilized as a prop in the “WoW-Killer” paradigm.

“Do you think we’lmost all get to a point in which a game other than WoW?could take a majority of the playerbase from another game, basically ‘killing’ it?” he wondered. “Will Blade & Soul or Crowfall be called a Guild Wars 2-killer? May?Star Citizen?someday be marked The EVE-killer?”

What do you think??Shall we be ever going to view a WoW-killer-killer? What MMORPG?has the best chance of to be the next “x-killer” meme in the variety?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers get together with mascot Missouri to ask MMORPG participants pointed?questions about the massively multiplayer on the web roleplaying genre.
